ABOUT MASTER’S PROGRAM IN PUBLIC POLICY (MPP)
The Kautilya School attracts students from diverse educational backgrounds including social sciences, engineering, business, and sciences.
Students experience a rigorous, interdisciplinary curriculum that blends academic theory with practitioner insight.
MPP is a 2-year, full-time, 103-credit program across 6 terms. Students complete 24+ courses, an internship, and a capstone project for real-world policy exposure.
Business & Government
Explore how markets and governance intersect in public policy.
ESG Issues
Study environmental, social, and governance frameworks in policy.
Economics for Policy
Develop economic models to design and evaluate policy interventions.
Global Affairs
Understand international relations and global policy systems.
Technology & Society
Assess the impact of emerging technologies on society and governance.
Students undergo a 6–8 week internship after their first year and a 4–5 month-long capstone project, working with policy organizations for practical experience.
Skill Shops cover Data Visualization, Media Communication, Research Writing, and Negotiation, building strong analytical and communication skills.
