Bio: Tehniyat is a Master’s student in Public Policy with a background in Human Rights. Her interdisciplinary interests lie at the intersection of refugee rights, migration, and child rights, alongside a strong engagement with geopolitics and India’s evolving foreign policy. She has previously worked with the UNHCR Government Liaison Unit in New Delhi, where she contributed to high-level communications, advocacy, and event coordination on refugee protection. She is committed to understanding how humanitarian concerns intersect with questions of diplomacy and governance, and aims to play a meaningful role in shaping inclusive and rights-based public policy in an increasingly complex global order.
