Dr. Sandeep Paul  is an Assistant Professor at the Kautilya School of Public Policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, The University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include climate change policy, disaster risk governance, sustainable urban development, and development finance. His doctoral work examined science–policy engagement in Indian urban climate policy, highlighting the role of knowledge actors in agenda setting and policy formation. Prior to his Ph.D., he was a Research Associate at the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), New Delhi. He also holds an M.A. in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Hans Raj College, University of Delhi.
